This meeting is open to the public. No one should attend the meeting if they are experiencing COVID- or flu-like symptoms, have a fever, sore throat or recently experienced a loss of taste or smell. Masks required.

Call to order and certification of compliance with open meeting law.
Approval of agenda.
Approval of minutes of previous meeting.
Public comment.
Communications.
Discussion and possible action to repair or replace the 80-ton air conditioning units.
Discussion and possible action of Lange fire alarm panel.
Discussion and possible action on current monitored fire alarm system A in library and expiring simplex monitoring.
Discussion and possible action on annual fire alarm inspections and how to proceed with process.
Financial report and approval of vouchers.
Discussion and possible action on status of the theatre and arts building remodel.
Update from Student Housing Advisory Committee.
Assistant Provost Report.

Members present: Hazard, Kolb, Lohr, Sloan, Giese, Miller and Bradley

Members Absent:

Chair Hazard called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. and Compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

MOTION (Kolb/Sloan) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried uanimiously.

MOTION (Sloan/Miller) to approve the minutes of the regular meeting. Motion carried unanimously.

Public comment: None.

Communications: None.

Facilities planning and maintenance report:

Schara gave the committee an update (report and list of invoices on file).

Discussion and possible action to repair or replace the 80-ton air conditioning units:

MOTION (Lohr/Miller) to approve the bid from Schlieckau in the amount of $113,500.00. Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion and possible action of Lange fire alarm system:

Schara gave the committee a brief update.

Financial report and approval of vouchers:

MOTION (Kolb/Sloan) to approve vouchers in the amount of $3,696.31. Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion and possible action on status of the theatre and arts building remodel:

Discussion took place among the committee.

Update from Student Housing Advisory Committee:

Giese gave the committee an update.

Assistant Provost Report:

Swallen gave the committee an update.

MOTION (Lohr/Miller) to adjourn at 8:27 a.m. until Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
