Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM by Chair Ashford.
Election of Committee Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary
Chair: Motion made by Dietz to nominate Ashford as committee Chair, second by Stehling. Motion carried. All in favor.
Vice-Chair: Motion made by Ashford to nominate Stehling as committee Vice-Chair, second by Dietz. Motion carried. All in favor.
Secretary: Motion made by Stehling to nominate Dietz as committee Secretary, second by Spencer. Motion carried. All in favor.
Certification of Open Meeting Notice
Requirements of the Open Meeting Law were met.
Approval of Agenda
Move agenda item #9 up to #6 on agenda. Motion made by Dietz, second by Andrews to approve the agenda. Motion carried. All in favor.
Approval of Minutes of Last Meeting
Motion made by Dietz, second by Stehling to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of April 13, 2016. Motion carried. All in favor.

Communications from Reedsburg ArtsLink, Sauk Prairie Fire on the River, Wisconsin Historical Society renewal notice. Introductions of committee members.
Report on Harvest Park Project and Ruminant being selected for WI Top Rural Development Award – JoAnn Mundth
Mundth gave history and update on project and how it evolved as an extension of the grant process. The Wisconsin Top Rural Development Award was received in 2016.
Review Budget and Approval of Vouchers:
UW Extension
Budget reviewed and explained to new committee members, Andrews and Spencer. Motion was made by Stehling, second by Spencer to approve the April 2016 UW Extension invoices in the amount of $3,037.43. Motion carried. All in favor.
Arts & Culture
Two approved good idea grants are still outstanding and will be paid out with May invoices. Motion was made by Dietz, second by Stehling to approve the April 2016 AHHP invoices in the amount of $6,500. Motion carried. All in favor.

Overview and funding structure of UW Extension explained to new committee members.
Discussion and possible action, Approval of members attending 2016 WACEC Conf. June 20-21 in Wausau
Motion made by Dietz, second by Andrews to approve Stehling to attend the 2016 State WACEC Conference on June 20-21 in Wausau. Motion carried. All in favor.
Discussion and possible action, Consider Sauk Co. UW Extension funding structure resolution (Similar to LaCrosse County)
Anderson provided background to new committee members. Vacant Sauk County Agriculture Agent position was also discussed. Table agenda item to June agenda when more details available.

Meg Sage, 4-H Youth Dev. Agent: Timeline shared regarding 4-H and youth programming from December to March.
Sue Nagelkerk, FLE: Dollars During Development, Building Family Foundations
Consideration of Applications for Good Idea Grants
Wormfarm Institute - Motion was made by Stehling, second by Ashford to approve the Wormfarm Institute good idea grant in the amount of $500. Motion carried. All in favor.
River Arts Inc. Motion was made by Dietz, second by Stehling to approve the Neophonic Jazz Orchestra good idea grant in the amount of $500. Motion carried. All in favor.
