All are invited to attend a meeting to discuss transportation in Sauk County. This is a planning meeting where we will identify gaps in transportation services in Sauk County and propose specific ideas to fill those gaps. Three staff members of the DOT's Bureau of Transit, Local Roads, Railroads and Harbors will be in attendance. Light snacks and beverages will be available. The meeting room and access to the room are fully accessible. Transportation will be available for any participants for whom transportation is an issue. The meeting will be held June 30 in room B24 of the West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI. The meeting is scheduled to run from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Minutes for June 30, 2010 TCC meeting held in Room B30 of the West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI.

Attending: Art Carlson, Peter Murray, Ralph Soeldner, Trish Vandre, Phyllis Johnson, Janet Pearson, and Ashley Nedeau-Owen.
Absent: Sue Hebel, Jim Brown, Betty Durst, Natalie Wilmot, Sandra Roemer-Rutter, Michael Coleman, Alan Wildman, Theron Hill and Darwin Nelson.

This was a special meeting determined to be an official meeting of the TCC by Corporation Counsel only four business days prior to the meeting. A quorum was not present. No business was conducted.

The meeting was called in coordination with the state DOT in order to complete the 2010 Sauk County Locally Developed – Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan.

Information regarding transportation funding, providers, gaps, needs and services was shared and gathered and four primary goals were set as were several action steps for each primary goal. The completed plan will be submitted to the DOT along with all supporting documents.
