PROPERTY AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
October 15, 2013
Approved Minutes

Members Present:  David Riek, Virgil Hartje, George Johnson, John Miller, Scott Von Asten
Others Present:  Elizabeth A. Geoghegan

1. Meeting called to order by Chairperson Riek at 5:30 p.m.  Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Agenda:  Motion by Johnson, 2nd by Hartje to adopt.  Motion Carried.
3. Business Items:
a. Reviewed Resolution Ordering County Clerk to Issue Tax Deeds on Unredeemed Tax Certificates – Box Property.  Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Johnson to approve Resolution.  Motion Carried.
b. Reviewed Resolution Ordering County Clerk to Issue Tax Deeds on Unredeemed Tax Certificates.  Motion by Johnson, 2nd by Hartje to approve Resolution.  Motion Carried.
c. Discussion was held on setting minimum bids for the properties taken in the 2nd resolution.  Minimum bid amounts were set on each property separately.  Motion by Miller, 2nd by Johnson to approve amounts as set.  Motion Carried.
4. Adjourn:  Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Johnson to adjourn.  Motion Carried.
