i. Discussion regarding sale of tax delinquent properties – Appearance by Todd Liebman
b. Report from Economic Development Committee Representative
c. Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion,
compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental
body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of Emergency
Management, Buildings & Safety Administrator.
d. Reconvene in open session immediately following the closed session.

PROPERTY AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
January 07, 2013

Members Present: Virgil Hartje, George Johnson, David Riek, John Miller, Scott Von Asten
Others Present: Timothy Stieve, Carl Gruber, Liz Geoghegan, Kathy Schauf, Marty Krueger, Todd Liebman, Julie Hyser

1. Meeting called to order by Riek at 3:30 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Agenda: Due to conflict in his scheduling, Miller suggested moving the meeting to the 1st Tuesday of the month Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Miller to adopt Agenda. Motion Carried.
3. Adopt draft minutes of November 6, 2012 meeting and December 10, 2012. Motion by Miller, 2nd by Hartje to adopt the minutes from both meetings. Carried
4. Public comment: None
5. Communications: Request by the Sauk County Right to Life Chapter for use of the Courthouse grounds for a peaceful rally on January 22, 2013. Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Johnson to approve the request. Carried.
6. Business Items:
a. Treasurer’s Report -- monthly report
Liz reported the tax deed properties have been posted to the web site and they will also be posted in the news paper this week. Todd updated the committee on the tax delinquent property sales process.
i. Todd addressed the committee on use of a Realtor or use of such sites as Craigslist for listing tax delinquent properties.

b. Report from Economic Development Committee Representative – Dave Riek commented that the committee did not meet and there was nothing to report.

c. Motion by Miller to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of EMBS Administrator, 2nd by Johnson. Roll Call Vote: Hartje – Yes, Johnson – Yes, Riek – Yes, Miller– Yes, Von Asten – Yes. Motion Carried

d. Reconvene in open session

7. Departmental Updates - Risk Management (Carl Gruber)
a. Monthly Report – Carl review his monthly report.
b. Review and Approval of Deductibles – There are no deductibles Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Von Asten to approve the report.
Motion Carried.
Departmental Updates - Buildings, Communications/Towers & Landfill (Tim Stieve)
Monthly Report – Tim reviewed his monthly report.
Review and Approval of Vouchers. Motion by Miller, 2nd by Hartje to approve vouchers. Motion Carried

8. Next meeting date: Regular meeting is set for February 05, 2013 at 3:30 p.m.

9. Adjourn: Motion by Johnson, 2nd by Von Asten to adjourn. Motion Carried.
