11.    It is anticipated that the Committee may enter into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. S. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  (Topic: Performance Evaluation of Facilities Director) A roll call vote will be taken to go into closed session and to return to open session.

SAUK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

PROPERTY COMMITTEE MINUTES

January 4, 2024 – Sauk County West Square Administration Building, Room 213

 

Members Present: Carl Gruber, James Astle, Joel Chrisler (by phone), Bob Spencer

Members Absent: Smooth Detter

Others Present: Ian Crammond, William Commings, Kelly Finup, Jessica Machovec, Brent Miller, Melissa Schlupp

At 4:00 p.m. Chairman Gruber called the Property Committee meeting to order and certified compliance with the open meetings law.

Adopt Agenda: Motion to adopt agenda by B. Spencer, 2nd by J. Astle. Motion Carried.

Adopt draft of minutes from previous meeting: Motion by B. Spencer, 2nd by J. Astle, to approve the minutes from the December 6, 2023, meeting. Motion Carried.

Public comment: None.

Communication: None.

Treasurers Report:

Set minimum bid prices for sale of tax foreclosure properties to the general public: J. Machovec presented. Motion by J. Astle, 2nd by B. Spencer, to approve pricing.  Motion Carried.

 

Building Services Report:  I. Crammond and W. Commings reviewed the Monthly report with the Committee. 

Communications Monthly Report:  I. Crammond reviewed the Monthly report with the Committee.

Discussion and possible action regarding a Resolution to Sell a Highway Easement of 1,046 sq feet of Sauk County land to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at the Sauk County Farm:  Presented by M. Schlupp.  B. Spencer motioned to approve, 2nd by J. Astle.  Motion carried

Discussion and possible action on updating the Courthouse lawn and meeting use policy: Presented by I. Crammond. Motion by J. Chrisler, 2nd by J. Astle.  Motion Carried

Building Services Capital Projects Update: None.

Review and Approval of Vouchers.  Motion by B. Spencer, 2nd by J. Chrisler to approve the vouchers in the amount of $139,829.18.  Motion Carried.

Next meeting date(s) and agenda items:  February 1, 2024, 4:00 pm Rm. 213 West Square Building.

Enter into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats.
