PROPERTY AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

January 7, 2020

Unapproved Minutes

Members Present: Carl Gruber, Shane Gibson, Kevin Schell, Mark Detter, Joel Chrisler

Others Present: Ian Crammond, William Commings, Rob Nelson

1. Meeting called to order by Gruber at 5:00 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met (WIS. STAT. 19.84)

2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Schell, 2^nd by Chrisler to adopt Agenda. Motion Carried

3. Adopt draft minutes of December 3 meeting: Motion by Gibson to adopt the draft minutes, 2^nd by Schell. Motion Carried.

4. Public Comment- none

5. Communications- Wisconsin Right For Life request to use the Courthouse grounds to host a peacefull rally January 22, 2021. Motion to approve the request by Gibson, 2^nd by Chisler. Motion Carried.

6. Business Items:

a. Treasurer’s Report –

i. December Sales Report- Elizabeth provided the committee with a sales report of recent properties.

7. Buildings, Communications/Towers & Landfill Updates – Ian Crammond

a. Monthly Report- Ian reviewed the monthly report with the committee.

b. Solar production update- Ian is working on final calculation of solar production and cost savings to provide to the Board

c. Communications Report- Ian reviewed his Communications Report with the Committee

d. Discussion and possible approval of an ordinance CREATING CHAPTER 45 OF THE SAUK COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO FACILITIES & INFRASTRUCTURE. Motion by Detter to adopt the ordinance with the amended wording provided by the committee, 2^ND by Gibson. Motion Carried. Motion by Detter to approve CREATING CHAPTER 45 OF THE SAUK COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO FACILITIES & INFRASTRUCTURE, 2^nd by Gibson. Motion Carried

e. Building Services Capital Project updates- no updates

f. Review and Approval of Vouchers Motion by Gibson to approve the vouchers in the amount of $139,910.18, 2^ndby Detter. Motion Carried.

g. Tour of Old Annex Jail area, and Historic Courthouse Clock tower

8. Next Meeting date: February 4, 2020 at 5:00 pm

9. Adjourn: Motion by Detter to adjourn, 2nd by Chrisler. Motion Carried
