Members Present: Scott Von Asten, Jean Berlin, Shane Gibson, Carl Gruber
Members Absent: William Hambrecht
Others Present: Ian Crammond, Lisa Vodak, William Commings, Alene Bolin, Pat Gavinski, Tom Kriegl, Steve Argo
1. Meeting called to order by Von Asten at 4:30 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Gruber , 2nd by Gibson to adopt the Agenda. Motion Carried
3. Adopt draft minutes of October 3, 2019 meeting: Motion by Gruber to adopt the draft minutes, 2nd by Gison. Motion Carried.
4. Public Comment: none
5. Communications: Baraboo 21 group Courthouse Bench information/request Steve Argo presented a donation of engraved granite benches to honor US armed forces. Motion by Gruber to accept the donation by Baraboo 21 group, 2nd by Gibson Motion Carried
6. Business items
a. Treasurer’s Report-
i. Update on In Rem Tax Foreclosures Elizabeth updated the committee on the In Rem Tax Foreclosures for 2019
b. Highway commissioner update on current planning of Sauk County Highway Facility Pat Gavinski spoke to the committee regarding the possible new Sauk County Highway Facility.
c. Discussion and possible nominations of 2 representatives from the Property Committee for the Ad Hoc Highway Building Committee Motion by Gruber to create ad hoc committee, 2nd by Gibson. Roll Call- Gruber-yes, Gibson-no, Berlin-no, VonAsten-no. Motion Fails
d. Space needs survey of Dept Heads Alene spoke to the committee regarding the preliminary stages of the space needs study and some of the planning that has begun regarding remodeling and movement of spaces and offices.
e. Update from the Ad Hoc Parking Committee Alene provided a article about parking in downtown districts for the committee to review, showing several signage ideas to show the public where to park in the downtown Baraboo area. Ian also discussed the update from the City of Baraboo’s Ed Geick regarding the City owned portion of the West Square Lot.
7. Buildings, Communications/Towers & Landfill Updates (Ian Crammond)
a. Monthly Report-Ian discussed the monthly report with the Committee
b. Courthouse lawn tree removal , plan for future over seeding and fertilizing Ian met with and the City of Baraboo’s Forester Matt Hess, to discuss the Courthouse lawn trees and future plans for the square.
d. Building Services Capital Projects Update- Ian discussed the Capital Projects completion with the committee.
e. Review and Approval of Vouchers- Motion by Gruber to approve the vouchers in the amount of $370,775.92, 2nd by Gibson Motion Carried.

9. Next Meeting: December 5, 2019 4:30pm
10. Adjourn: Motion to adjourn by Gruber, 2nd by Gibson. Motion Carried
