(b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations.  Employee Grievance.

ORDER OF BUSINESS.  The meeting was called to order by Meister at 2:10 P.M. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.

 

AGENDA.  Motion by M. Dent, second by A. Lombard, to adopt the amended agenda.  Motion carried.

 

MINUTES.  Motion by H. Netzinger, second by M. Dent, to approve the April 10, 2015, regular business meeting minutes as sent.

 

PUBLIC COMMENT.   None.

PUBLIC HEALTH.     C. Bodendein and J. Smidl appeared to request ability to reclassify vacant Administrative Support position.  Areas have been restructured a change in position will better suit the needs of the department.    Motion by A. Lombard, second by M. Dent to approve the reclassification of the vacant position to Health Screener/Administrative Support effective upon passage.  Motion carried.

 

SHERIFF LTE EXTENSION.  Sheriff Meister appeared to request ability to extend two limited term employees (Telecommunicators) an additional six months to assist with increased summer volume.  Motion by H. Netzinger, second by A. Lombard, to extend two, limited term employees an additional six months.  Motion carried.

 

CLOSED SESSION EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCE.  Motion T.  Meister, second by A. Lombard, to enter into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 19.85 (1) (f) considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations.

 

Roll call vote was taken:  Meister-Aye, Lombard-Aye, Netzinger-Aye, Dent-Aye, Held-Aye.  Motion Carried.

 

Motion by M. Dent, second by A. Lombard, to reconvene in open session.  Motion carried

 

WPPA L241 GRIEVANCE HEARING. M. Goetz presented information on behalf of the union regarding the disciplinary action.  Sheriff Meister and M. Posewitz presented the information on behalf of the Sheriff’s Department.  Motion by A. Lombard, second by M. Dent, to deny the grievance as presented. Motion carried.

 

MISSION, VISION AND GOALS.    M. Posewitz presented the initial information in conjunction with the next budget cycle.  Personnel Committee to review for discussion at June/July meeting.

 

DEPARTMENTAL UPDATE.  M. Posewitz distributed the monthly activities report including meetings, recruitments, terminations, labor activities, EAP utilization and benefits information. GHC is planning to appear at May Board Meeting to discuss future initiatives and the contract with the local clinic.  We have reached the 50% participation goal for the Health Risk Assessments (HRA) – renewal rates will not exceed 3% for 2016. Currently working with EAP provider to conduct training with department heads and other staff.  Motion by C. Held, second by M. Dent, to approve the monthly report and invoices.  Motion carried.

 

Motion by H. Netzinger, second by A. Lombard, to until Thursday, June 11, 2015.  Motion carried.
