8.  Department: Parks

   a.  Review and Approval of Vouchers.

Motion by Netzinger, seconded by Kast to approve March 2016 vouchers in the amount of $ 20,662.34.

Motion carried.

   b.  Consider Resolution Supporting Baraboo River Corridor.

Motion by Netzinger, seconded by Fish to approve Resolution supporting Baraboo River Corridor.

Motion carried.

   c.  Consider Permit Allowing Lake Redstone Dam Celebration at Redstone Park.

Motion by Netzinger, seconded by Kast to approve permit allowing Lake Redstone Dam Celebration at Redstone Park with conditions that Matt Stieve’s name be taken off committee, approval of insurance requirements by Corp Counsel and repairs/damages to be paid by Lake Redstone Committee.

Motion carried.

   d.  Consider Permit Allowing Rest Area for Taliesin Preservation Century Bicycle Ride Through White Mound Park.

Matt Stieve stated Taliesin is providing insurance coverage.

Motion by Fish, seconded by Netzinger to approve permit allowing rest area for Taliesen Preservation Century Bicycle Ride through White Mound Park.

   e.  Update Fee Adjustment with Mounds Down Four.

Matt Stieve is putting project on hold until further notice. When the project moves forward a resolution will be brought forward to hire an engineering firm.

9.  Department: Highway

   a.  Review and Approval of Vouchers.

Motion by Peper, seconded by Kast to approve March 2016 vouchers in the amount of $ 338,875.52.

   b.  Open Bids for Fire Protection System for Storage Building Located at the West Baraboo Shop at 9:30 a.m.

6 Bids were received for the fire protection system for storage building located at the West Baraboo Shop.

Motion by Fish, seconded by Kast to award Ahern the bid for the fire protection system in the amount of $ 38.500.00.

Motion carried.

   c.  Open Bids for One (1) Brush Chipper at 9:30 a.m.

3 Bids were received for one (1) Brush Chipper.

Motion by Netzinger, seconded by Peper to delay award of bid to May so vendors can demonstrate machines.

   d.  Review and Approve Quotes on Construction Materials and Liquid Asphalt at 9:30 a.m.

Motion by Peper, seconded by Kast to purchase materials which would be most advantageous to Sauk County.

Motion carried.

   e.  Review and Approval of Highway Employee 4-10 Hour Day Work Week Schedule.

Work Schedule to start May 2.

Motion by Kast, seconded by Fish to approve of Highway Employee 4-10 Hour Day Work Week Schedule.

Motion carried.

   f.  Discuss Road Inspection Tour.

   g.  Discuss Attendance for WCHA Summer Conference.

Two Committee members will attend.

No Action.

   h.  Review and Approve Bridge Inspection Contract.

Tabled for May.

   i.  Review and Approve Purchase of Crew Cab Pickup Truck.

Motion by Kast, seconded by Peper to approve purchase of crew cab pickup from Ewald Automotive Group on the State bid in the amount of $ 27,567.00 plus applicable license and title fees.

   j.  Review and Approval of Filling Vacant Employee Position Due to Retirement.

Motion by Fish, seconded by Kast to approve filling vacant employee position due to retirement.

   k.  Discuss Salt and Sand Shed at Woodland Town Shop.

   l.  Review and Approve Request by Sauk Ridge Runners ATV Club for ATV/UTV Routes on County Highway Sections.

New Ordinance will have to be drafted. Will discuss with Todd Liebman at Corp. Counsel.
