Members present:  Joe Fish, Henry Netzinger, Bill Higgins, Dennis Polivka, and Chuck Spencer

Absent: Mary Ellen Murray, Terri Langer

Others present: Jennifer Vosen, Dennis Murray, Theresa Dietz, Julie Mortensen, and Marty Krueger

 

1.  Meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Chair Fish and certified compliance with the open meeting law.

 

2.  Motion by Higgins, second by Netzinger, to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

 

3.  Motion by Higgins, second by Netzinger, to approve the minutes of the April 20, 2016 meeting.   Motion carried.

 

4.  Public Comment – None 

 

5.  Communication – Jenny presented a letter from the family of Vi and Duane Schultz thanking the Sauk County Health Care Center for the wonderful care that their parents received, while they were residents here.

 

6. Board of Trustee Orientation -  Jenny gave information on the policies and procedures and conflict of interest.                  

 

7.  Home Health Care Operations Report – Jenny presented reports, discussion followed.   Motion by Netzinger, second by Spencer, to approve the April 2016 Home Care vouchers in the amount of $2,292.35.  Motion carried.

 

8.  Home Care Adjustments – Jenny presented the adjustment.  Motion by Spencer, second by Netzinger, to approve the adjustment.  Motion carried.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                      9. Business Office report and voucher review- Jenny presented the vouchers and highlighted items of interest.  Operations statement and aging were also discussed. Motion by Netzinger,  second by Higgins, to approve April 2016 vouchers in the amount of $143,670.71.   Motion carried.

 

10. Administrator’s report - Jenny reported that she had attended the regular administrative meetings.  She presented outcomes and efficiency measures.  She reported that she has finished her studies and is waiting for permission to sit for her state and federal administrator exams.

 

11. Gazebo update from Joe Fish – We have the building permit and the Sauk County Board of Supervisors accept the gift of the Gazebo.

 

12. Public Comment - None

 

13.  Next meeting date and agenda items for next month - The next meeting will be Wednesday June 15,  2016 at 5:15 p.m.  

 

 

Motion by Polvka,  second by Spencer, to adjourn.  Motion carried.
