1. Meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Steve Bach and certified compliance with the open meeting law.
2. Motion by Borleske, second by Langer to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
3. Motion by Carlson, second by Langer to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried.
4. Public Comment . None
5. Communications. None
6. Motion by Borleske, second by Netzinger to move to closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1)© Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of Superintendent/Administrator. Kathy Schauf and Marty Krueger were given permission to stay. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
7. Motion by Netzinger, second by Carlson to reconvene in open session. Motion carried.
8. Discussion held regarding amending the Sauk County HCC Foundation By-laws. The Foundation Board set the bond for the Treasurer at $0 due to cost. Policies and procedures will be established to assure that the Treasurer is held accountable. Foundation bank statement will be reviewed at the Board of Trustees meeting each month.
9. Discussion of resolution commending Victor Matesi for years of service.
Motion by Carlson, second by Murray to approve the resolution commending CNA Victor Matesi for 9+ years of service to the Health Care Center. Motion carried.
10. Discussion held regarding donations.
Motion by Netzinger, second by Langer to approve the quarterly donations in the amount of $490. Motion carried.
11. Business office report and voucher review.
Discussion held regarding vouchers, operations statement and aged receivables.
Motion by Netzinger, second by Borleske to approve the vouchers for March in the amount of $86,619.18. Motion carried.
12. Administrator's report. Kim updated the board on various activities of the HCC over the past month. March was a busy month with Survey preparation, met with Achieve therapy to work on transition, the union voted and accepted the contract through 2013, and continued with all staff meetings and inservices. Juli Brandt attended a training session and became wound care certified. Bridget Reilly did advanced wound care training. We raised over $2300 for the Alzheimer's memory walk at our 9-pin tap bowling tournament. Ongoing inservices for all staff on neglect were held. Our special meeting to look at programs and priorities will be scheduled during our June board meeting.
13. Next meeting set for Thursday, May , at 5:30 p.m.
