- Called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Steve Bach. The open meeting law requirements were met.
- Motion by Carlson, second by Langer to adopt the amended agenda. Motion carried.
- Motion by Borleske, second by Netzinger to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried.

Communication
- Art Carlson summarized some statistics from a recent ADRC meeting regarding the elderly population increase expected in the future. Terri Langer thanked Kim for the recent tour given to several representatives of the Reedsburg Senior Life Center.

Discussion held regarding the decision to raise private pay rates in February. Kim summarized the financial impact of different scenarios. Mary Ellen Murray objected to the rate increase because of the difficult economic conditions we are faced with.
- Motion by Carlson, second by Higgins to increase the private pay rates approximately 5%. Motion carried.

Business office report and voucher review. Discussion held regarding vouchers, operations statement and aged receivables. Our Medicaid rates are increasing and we have received a check from Anthem for one of our claims. Contract with the collection agency has been signed.
- Motion by Borleske, second by Carlson to approve the vouchers in the amount of $101,351.29. Motion carried.
- Administrator's report. Kim updated the board on various activities of the HCC over the past month. Bill McClary provided a graph indicating our electrical consumption over the past year. Held our 1 year anniversary party and had a nice turnout. We hosted the Wisconsin Association of County Homes meeting and met with County and MATC staff regarding future development of green sustainability on the campus. RFP for Therapy sent out with opening scheduled for January 14. The Craft Bazaar was very successful. Our Employee Appreciation/Holiday Party is set for December 14 with lunch from 10:30 - 1:00 and the program at 1:00. All board members are welcome to attend. Held a Foundation meeting immediately before this meeting. Cook book sales are going well. Moving forward with the stained glass project. Terri Langer asked for more clinical information and Kim will ask Juli Brandt to present at the February meeting.
