Joint Meeting Of Executive & Legislative and Personnel Committees  – Special Meeting

Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.

Sauk County West Square Building, Room 213, 505 Broadway, Baraboo WI

 

Members Present:  Krueger, Fordham, Polivka, Fish, Czuprynko, Meister, Lombard, Netzinger, and Dent             

Members Absent:   Held

County Personnel:  Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel and Michelle Posewitz, Personnel Director

 

Others Present:   Supervisor Peterson

 

Chair Krueger called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

 

Election of Chairperson for this Joint Meeting:

MOTION (Meister/Netzinger) to select Chair Krueger as Chairperson of the meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

MOTION (Czuprynko/Fordham) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Public Comment:  None.

 

Communications:  None.

 

Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Discussion of employment contract of Administrative Coordinator:

MOTION (Fish/Czuprynko) to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over with the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Discussion of employment contract of Administrative Coordinator.  Roll Call:  AYES (9) Krueger, Fordham, Polivka, Fish, Czuprynko, Meister, Lombard, Netzinger and Dent.  NAYS (0). 

ABSENT:  (1) Held.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

MOTION (Czuprynko/Fish) to reconvene in open session immediately following closed session.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Consideration of resolution approving employment contract for the position of Administrative Coordinator:

MOTION (Fordham/Meister) to approve employment contract for the position of Administrative Coordinator and forward to County Board for approval.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

MOTION (Fordham/Dent) to adjourn.   Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 10:50 a.m.
