Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the [governmental] body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Recruitment and selection process for the position of Administrative Coordinator.
  6. Reconvene in open session.
  7. Consideration and selection of final candidates for the position of Administrative Coordinator. 
  8. Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the [governmental] body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Performance Evaluation Corporation Counsel.

MINUTES

 

 

Executive & Legislative Committee – Special Meeting

Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.

Sauk County West Square Building, Room 213, 505 Broadway, Baraboo WI

 

Members Present:  Krueger, Fordham (1:20 p.m.), Polivka, Fish and Czuprynko

Members Absent:  

County Personnel:  Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel

 

Others Present:   Scott Alexander and Bob Roberts, Moffett & Associates

 

Chair Krueger called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

 

MOTION (Polivka/Fish) to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Public Comment:  None.

 

Communications: 

a)  02/15/16 Request for Quotes:  Designation of Official Sauk County Newspaper for 2016-2018.

b)  02/12/16 Status Update:  Coordinator Recruitment – Moffett & Associates, LLC.

 

Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Recruitment and selection process for the position of Administrative Coordinator. 

MOTION (Polivka/Czuprynko) to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over with the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Recruitment and selection process for the position of Administrative Coordinator.  Roll Call:  AYES (4) Krueger, Fish, Polivka and Czuprynko.  NAYS (0).  ABSENT:  (0).  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Fordham arrived at 1:20 p.m.

 

MOTION (Czuprynko/Fish) to reconvene in open session immediately following closed session.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

Consideration and selection of final candidates for the position of Administrative Coordinator.

MOTION (Fordham/Czuprynko) to consider and select the following final candidates for the position of Administrative Coordinator:

1.  Daniel Elsass

2.  Renae Fry

3.  Brentt Michalek

4.  Shawn Murphy

5.  David Nord

6.  Arthur Osten

Motion carried unanimously.

 

 

 

Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Performance Evaluation Corporation Counsel.  

MOTION (Polivka/Fish) to postpone until the March 2, 2016 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

MOTION (Fordham/Polivka) to adjourn.  Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 2:45 pm.
