Executive and Legislative Committee Special Meeting

Members Present: Krueger, Fordham, Lane
Members Absent: Wenzel and Stevens
Others Present: Liebman, Schauf, DeMars and Bodendein
Chair Krueger called the meeting to order at 4:45 P.M. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified. MOTION (Lane/Fordham) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
Public Comment. None.
Communications.
- 02/04/14 WiDNR Letter: Invitation to Resilience Meeting for Lower Wisconsin Watershed on March 6, 2014.

- Review and Approval of Vouchers.
MOTION (Lane/Fordham) to approve the bills as presented in the amount of $ 269.50. Motion carried unanimously.
Consideration of a resolution Approving Intergovernmental Agreement Between Adams, Juneau, and Sauk Counties Creating the South Central Environmental Health Consortium.
Liebman and Bodendein presented information for this resolution noting that these three counties currently participate in this consortium, but it would be desirable to adopt an agreement to formalize their intergovernmental operating relationship. MOTION (Fordham/Lane) to approve the resolution and forward to the County Board for consideration at the February 18, 2014 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
Consideration of activities and potential proclamation for NACo: April Is “County Government” Month. MOTION (Fordham/Lane) to postpone consideration of NACo-April is “County Government” Month until next regular scheduled March 6 Executive & Legislative meeting for further discussion. Motion carried unanimously.
Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance Evaluation Corporation Counsel: MOTION (Lane/Fordham) to go into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the (governmental) body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance Evaluation Corporation Counsel and allowing Liebman, Corporation Counsel to remain. Roll call vote: AYES: (3) Krueger, Fordham, and Lane. NAYS: (0) ABSENT: (2) Wenzel and Stevens.
MOTION (Fordham/Lane) to reconvene in open session immediately following the closed session. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Lane/Fordham) to adjourn meeting upon conclusion of closed session. Motion carried unanimously.
