Executive & Legislative Committee   SPECIAL Meeting

Tuesday, August 19, 2014; 4:00 P.M.

Room B30, West Square Building, 505 Broadway, Baraboo, WI

 

Members Present:  Krueger, Fordham, Fish and Polivka

Members Absent:  Czuprynko

Others Present:  Schauf, DeMars and Bychinski

 

Chair Krueger called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.

MOTION (Polivka/Fish) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.

 

MOTION (Fish/Fordham) to approve minutes of the regular meeting on July 1, 2014 and special meeting on July 8, 2014 correcting the spelling of Fordham in July 1st minutes.   Motion carried unanimously.

 

Public Comment. None.

 

Communications. None.

 

Consideration and discussion of 2015 Budget – County Clerk:

MOTION (Fordham/Polivka) to approve the 2015 Budget request adding an additional goal and objective for “Exploring the option of an annual meeting with municipal clerks pertaining to the SVRS and forward to Finance Committee.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Consideration and discussion of 2015 Budget – Administrative Coordinator:

MOTION (Polivka/Fordham) to approve the 2015 Budget request creating a separate account for the CJCC.   Motion carried unanimously.

 

MOTION (Polivka/Fish) to postpone item 8 -Discussion: Resolutions for 2014 WCA Annual Conference

and item 9 - Possible closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stats. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the [governmental] body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.  Performance evaluation of Administrative Coordinator until the next meeting.

Motion carried unanimously.

 

 MOTION (Polivka/Fordham) to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
