Joint Meeting of Economic Development and UW Extension Arts & Culture Committees

Members present:   Marty Krueger, Donna Stehling, Joe Fish, Brian Peper, Dave Riek, Gerry Lehman, Dennis Polivka, Mark Detter, Joan Smoke, Judy Ashford, John Dietz

Members absent:    Alan Anderson

Others present:      Kathy Schauf, Gregory Petrulis, Mike Powell, Audrey Parker, Laurel Massingill, William Waser, Carol Waser, Don Bennett, Bill Wietzel

The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 5:00 p.m.  Chair Ashford called the UW Arts and Culture Committee to order. The agenda was approved on a motion by Smoke, second by Stehling. 

Chair Krueger called the Economic Development Committee to order.  The agenda was approved on a motion by Fish, second by Riek. 

Ann Claussen presented on behalf of the Fox River Heritage Culture.  The committees discussed pros and cons of the concept.  The item will be agendized for Economic Development, and then be forwarded to UW Arts and Culture Committee for consideration.

Motion by Smoke, second by Stehling, to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.
Motion by Peper, second by Lehman, to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.
