Unapproved Minutes

Members Present:     Tommy Lee Bychinski, Scott VonAsten, Nathan Johnson, Michelle Dent, William Hambrecht

Others Present:          Phil Raab, Jeff Spencer, Richard Meister, Shane Workman

1.   Meeting called to order by Bychinski at 3:30 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.

2.   Adopt Agenda:  Motion by Von Asten, 2nd by Dent to approve agenda. Carried.

3.   Approve minutes from October 02, 2014 meetings:  Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by Johnson to approve minutes.  Carried.

4.   Public Comment – None.

5.   Communications – None.

6.   Business Items:

      a.   Update on Towers

            i.   Narrowbanding update.  Phil noted that tower bases are in at both Loganville and Plain as well as the conduit for fiber, just need to stack towers and install fiber, hopefully work can be completed within the next month.

 Phil also reported note he is working with Hillpoint on some specific issue in the area of Hwy 130 in their district that would be related to the Narrowbanding.

Phil was contacted by County Fire Departments about possible group purchase of pagers as was done a few years ago.  Phil is working on getting the pricing set so the Fire Departments can place their order direct versus the county making the purchase and trying to complete the billings and distribution.  This should help speed up the process but still gain the benefit of a group purchase price.

Tim reported on US Cellular potentially placing cell equipment & antennas on West Square Roof.

       c.  Update on Fiber

            i.    Tim still has not heard back from WIN on the Fiber lease.

                  Tim reported on damage vault that had to be replaced on South Blvd project.  Vault was damaged by the

                  construction firm, James Peterson & Son Inc. (JPS).  Repair cost were billed to and paid by JPS.

      d.   Report from Fire, EMS & Police Representatives.

            i.    No reports

7.   Next regular meeting was scheduled for January 08, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.
