COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE MEETING
January 3, 2013
Approved Minutes
Members Present: Tommy Lee Bychinski, Scott Von Asten, Virgil Hartje, Frederick Halfen
Others Present: Tim Stieve, Phil Raab
1. Meeting called to order by Bychinski at 3:15 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Halfen, second by Hartje to approve agenda. Carried.
3. Approve minutes from November 8, 2012: Motion by Hartje, 2nd by Halfen to approve minutes. Carried.
4. Public Comment - None.
5. Communications – Tim noted emails from both Supervisor Detter and EMS Representative Kowalke advising they
would be unable to attend.
6. Business Items:
a. Update on recording of County Meetings: Tim Stieve reported for Steve Pate who was unavailable. Granicus
system has been purchased; need to do programming and audio testing. We will be trying one to incorporate one
video camera as test. Discussion followed.
b. Update on Towers. Phil noted that all Narrowbanding is completed, working with local agencies on renewing
radio licenses and checking for issue with narrowbanding.
c. EDA Grant Update. Still waiting to get Grant closed out.
d. Report from Fire, EMS & Police Representatives.
i. No reports.
7. Next regular meeting scheduled for February 7, 2013 at 3:15 p.m.
