Members Present: Wedekind, Geimer, Lombard, Kolb, Von Asten, Giese, DeMars
Members Absent:
Others Present: Armstrong, Kohlmeyer, Pleger, M. Krueger, E. Geick
Chairperson Wedekind called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
MOTION (Kolb/Lombard) to approve the agenda for today’s meeting.

Discussion of Request for Proposal/Qualification Soliciting Vendors to Design, Build and Operate a Residence Hall on the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County Campus: Dean Pleger advises the objectives today will be to review each component of this draft document, discuss changes and ultimately modify language as necessary. No response received from Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel as of today’s meeting. Chair Marty Krueger assured the committee the legal review is being done and reminds members to keep the County Board and City updated on status of process, suggesting a progress report. Commission agreed that a subcommittee should be created to represent commission and report progress to the County and City. Initial draft discussion concludes with a request from Kolb to note today’s changes be highlighted and this commission receive legal opinion and modifications or approval from Sauk County Corporation Counsel. MOTION (Lombard/Kolb) to adjourn and set the next regular meeting to June 21, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
