Call to order and certification of compliance with Open Meeting Law at 9:00 a.m.
Board of Canvassers present:
Marcy Huffaker, Sauk County Canvasser; Patricia Carignan, Sauk County Canvasser; and Rebecca C. Evert, Sauk
County Clerk.
Others present: Michelle Commings, Deputy Sauk County Clerk.
Canvassers reviewed the zero report tapes to verify all totals were zero at the beginning of the night on the tabulation equipment. Votes cast at the November 6, 2018 General Election were verified reviewing the highest number of votes cast is the same or less than the highest numbers of voters reporting on poll lists, and verifying that the number of ballots cast is the same or less than the highest number of voters on the poll lists. Inspectors’ Statements and Incident Logs were also reviewed and canvass incidents and adjustments noted.
Late arriving provisional ballots were canvassed.
MOTION (Evert/Carignan) at 9:45 a.m. to adjourn until 9:55 a.m. for a 10 minute break. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION (Evert/Huffaker) at 11:30 a.m. to adjourn for a lunch break. The meeting reconvened at 12:30 p.m.
