ORDER OF BUSINESS:

The meeting was called to order by M. Krueger at 8:30 A.M. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.

AGENDA:

Motion by M. Krueger, second by H. Netzinger, to adopt the amended agenda. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

None

COMMUNICATIONS:

M. Posewitz distributed handout regarding Non-Represented Employee Classification and Compensation Policy Overview.

DISCUSSION OF NON REPRESENTED EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION:

K. Schauf presented information regarding initial discussion points of the Non-Represented Employee Classification and Compensation Policy. M. Krueger addressed issues affiliated with the Non-Represented Employee Compensation Plan for presentation at the September meeting of the Sauk County Board. (See attached document). Overall recommendation to the Finance and Personnel Committees, 1.5% cost of living adjustment for the non-represented employees in recognition of the parity issues with the settled collective bargaining agreements.

DISCUSSION OF OVERTIME ISSUES:

K. Schauf addressed issues of overtime. Overtime is a management issue, department heads incorporate into budgets under budgetary direction from oversight committee. No action taken.

Motion by J. Fordham, second by H. Netzinger, to adjourn until Thursday, October 7, 8:30 a.m., for additional meeting. Motion carried.
