The meeting was called to order and certification of Open Meeting compliance was given at 6:00 p.m. The agenda was approved on a motion by Webb, second by Tollaksen. Motion carried.
Motion by Sherman, second by Volz to approve the minutes from the April 20, 2011 meeting. Motion carried.

Business Items
Consideration of Boundaries in the Creation of a Tentative County Supervisor District Plan.
Felton reviewed the plan that was prepared using the redistricting criteria established in the first two meetings. Members debated the merits of emphasis on incumbency versus corporate boundaries. The importance of corporate boundaries was emphasized by all members, particularly the city officials, in order to have a workable ten year plan. Motion by Liston, second by Estes, to approve the tentative county supervisory district plan, Option 2, giving the village of Prairie du Sac two full supervisory districts within corporate boundaries. Motion carried unanimously.
Resolution Adopting District Plan.
Motion by Tollaksen, second by Fordham, to approve the resolution for the May 17, 2011 meeting of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors entitled, "Adopting a Tentative County Supervisor District Plan and Directing the County Clerk to Transmit the Plan to Each Municipal Governing Body in Sauk County", in accordance with the draft plan number 2, have the Clerk write boundary descriptions and set the public hearing in accordance with that plan. Motion carried.
Motion by Liston, second by Tollaksen to adjourn. Motion carried.
