REGULAR MEETING
ATTENDANCE:
Members Present: Arthur Carlson - Chair, Janice Brown, Ruth Dawson, Vern Demers, Phyllis Johnson, Eileen Klepper, Janet Pearson.
Others Present: Keri Olson, Interim Director, ADRC Sauk County; Laura Geick, Nutrition & Prevention Specialist, ADRC Sauk County; Thomas Litscher, Mobility & Operations Manager, ADRC Sauk County.
Absent: Theron Hill, Joan Wucherer
1. Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law: The Meeting was called to order by Chair A. Carlson at 8:30 AM and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by V. Demers to adopt the Agenda, second by J. Pearson. Motion carried.
3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting: Motion by V. Demers to approve the previous Regular Meeting Minutes, second by P. Johnson. Motion carried.
4. Public Comment: Phyllis Johnson expressed great appreciation for the many services provided by ADRC to older adults, especially the assistance provided by Mindy Shrader, Elder Benefits Specialist, to a 96-year old apartment resident who had received a letter threatening eviction and termination. She explained older adults are often very threatened by letters such as this that employ intimidating language.

Discussion of the New Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Board Members: K Olson presented the names of Paul Bishop, Dwayne Cheers, Walter Darling and Cindy Liegel as candidates for a three-year term on the ADR Advisory Board. Motion by V. Demers to approve, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
B. Consider Recommendation of Approving the 2013 Aging Unit Plan Self-Assessment: Motion by V. Demers to approve, second by J. Pearson. Motion carried.
