Guests: Mary Krueger, County Board Chair; Brentt Michalek, Interim Administrative Coordinator; ADRC Director Susan Blodgett;  Linda Champagne, ADRC Program Specialist

 

  1. Meeting was called to order at 8:20 a.m. by Chairman D.Riek. Meeting was certified to be in compliance with Open Meeting Law.
  2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Gramling; Second by Moore to adopt the agenda as printed.
  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting: Motion by Moore; Second by Gramling to adopt October  minutes with the modification reflecting that members were absent “excused”.
  4. Public Comment: None
  5. Communications: Sauk County Board Chairman Marty Krueger spoke to deliver a letter of commendation to Sauk County Veterans Service Officer Tony Tyczinski from Waushara County for hosting an outstanding  VSO Fall conference in October, 2015.

7.Aging & Disability Resource Center Business Items

A.ADRC Departmental Update and Service Trends:  Susan Blodgett shared with the Committee a modified organizational chart representing the structure of the ADRC’s Nutrition Program under the umbrella of ADRC.  The ADRC Committee will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. for consideration and approval of the modified 2013-2015 Aging Unit Plan at 5:45 p.m. in the UW Extension meeting room.

B.Committee Members reviewed the Monthly Financial Statements.

C.Consideration and Approval of the Monthly Invoices:  Motion by D. Moore, Second by Gramling to approve the monthly invoices for $29,498.23. All aye, motion carried

8.Veterans Service Office Business Items

A.Veterans Service Office Departmental Update and Service Trends presented by Tony Tyczinski, Veterans Service Officer.

B.Consideration and Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by Gramling, 2nd by Held to approve invoices in the amount of $623.82. All Aye motion carried.

  1. Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee/Transportation Coordination Committee Updates: no report. Next meeting, Tuesday, November 17, 2015
  2. Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country Board Update: The topic of primary discussion at the  regional level was creating “dementia friendly” communities.   This meeting was well attended. Wisconsin Representatives. Considine, Brooks, and Novak were present.  County Shreiff’s departments will receive training for working with individuals with Dementia.
