Chair Spencer called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m. and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was verified.
MOTION (Whitsell/Curry) to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously and agenda adopted.
MOTION (McAuliffe /Whitsell) to approve the minutes from the meeting on October 9th, 2019. Motion carried unanimously.

Tony Tyczynski, Veterans Service Office:

Tyczynski discussed the outreach by VSO;during the month of October VSO has attended the Indigenous Peoples Day Ceremony; Regional Training, and Sauk County Veterans Council Meeting. In the month of November VSO will attend the Vet Con conference and the Veterans Day Events at Baraboo Civic Center and University of Baraboo. Discussion followed, No action taken.

Tyczynski discussed the current Veterans case trends are very time consuming. Tyczynski updated the board about the homeless veterans. Discussion followed; no action taken.

MOTION (Whitsell/McAuliffe) to approve the monthly invoices for October 2019 in the amount of $6,768.86. Motion carried unanimously
Susan Blodgett, Aging & Disability Resource Center

Monthly ADRC report –
-
Blodgett reported that ADRC is looking forward to offer to the diner’s new restaurant model: Reedsburg Country Club - it will be open 2 days a week Tuesday and Thursday serving soup and salad, and at Four Star Restaurant (negotiating the price) – Monday and Wednesday serving breakfast and lunch menu items. The ADRC’s 3-year nutrition review was re-scheduled to November per GWAAR request. A joint committee meeting to discuss moving the Reedsburg Dining site to the Heath Care Center will be scheduled for 2020, upon request of the Health Care center administrator. Discussion followed. No action taken

Transportation updates – Blodgett informed the board that our Transportation Coordinator is working on our 85.21 grant application and various reports. ADRC will held Public Hearing for 85.21 grant on November 20th, 2019 at 10:15a.m. Blodgett and Staci Dankert met with the officials from the City of Baraboo to coordinate plans for the new taxi vendor. Blodgett submitted the Veteran’s transportation grant in October, 2019. Discussion followed. No action taken.

Blodgett reported that ADRC is hiring a LTE Information and Assistance social worker.

During the month of October Blodgett met with the AARP Vita Tax representative. Discussion continues as to whether we will have a site in Baraboo. The ADRC will host a Caregiver Boot camp in November in Sauk City on Saturday, November 16th, 2019. Blodgett reported that ADRC was approved to have 2 parking spots for our clients. Discussion followed. The Oversight committee members requested ADRC to start surveying clients about ease of getting to our current location and their opinion on relocating to the second floor at West Square Building.
b-c) Blodgett presented the monthly financial statements and list of invoices for her department. Discussion followed, No action taken.
MOTION (Whitsell/Curry) to approve the October 2019 bill in the amount of $ 34,765.64. Motion carried unanimously.
Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle County Board Update: An issues with Regional time reporting has been brought to Susan’s attention. Discussion followed. No action taken.

Budget updates
MOTION (Whitsell/Curry) to adjourn until Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
Any person who has a qualifying disability that requires the meeting or materials at the meeting to be in an accessible location or format should contact Sauk County (608-355-3269 or TTY 608-355-3490) between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, exclusive of legal holidays, at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting so that reasonable arrangements can be made to accommodate each request.
