SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION:

  1. Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law; Meeting called to order at 8:15 am by Kriegl and certified to be in compliance with Open Meeting Law.  
  2. Adopt Agenda; Motion to adopt agenda by Moore, second by Hovde. Motion carried.
  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting; Motion to adopt minutes of previous meeting by Moore, second by Hovde. Motion carried.
  4. Public Comment; None.
  5. Elections of Officers
    1. Chairperson; Spencer nominated Kriegl. Unanimous vote to appoint Kreigl. Motion carried.  
    2. Vice-Chairperson; Spencer nominated Moore. Unanimous vote to appoint Moore. Motion carried.
    3. Secretary; Hovde nominated Spencer. Unanimous vote to appoint Spencer. Motion carried.
  6. Setup Meeting Dates and Times; Motion by Moore to meet second Thursday of each month at 8:15, second by Spencer. Motion carried.
  7. Aging & Disability Resource Center Business Items
    1. Overview of ADRC programming; Blodgett provided a brief overview of ADRC programming and services. Spencer inquired whether ADRC is content with current staffing allocations; Blodgett confirmed ADRC is currently OK, but if client contact growth continues ADRC will require a sixth I&A.
    2. Aging & Disability Resource Center Departmental Updates and Service Trends; Callers are up 48% compared to this time in 2015, nutrition figures are up 6%, evidence-based classes will be offered this summer.
    3. Approval of Nutrition Advisory Committee Members; Motion to approve Nutrition Advisory Committee members by Spencer, second by Moore. Motion carried.
    4. Review the Monthly Financial Statements; ADRC will distribute 2015 surplus into 2016 budget allocations.  
    5. Consideration and Approval of the Monthly Invoices; Motion to approve the monthly invoices by Moore, second by Spencer. Motion carried.
  8. Veterans Service Office Business Items
  9. Veterans Service Office Departmental Updates and Service Trends; VSO Guest Doug shared personal experience working with VSO to become “service-connected.” Doug has been on this journey for several years and had poor experiences using Veterans Service Offices in other states. The next Veterans Service Commission meeting is June 8.
    1. Review the Monthly Financial Statements;
    2. Consideration and Approval of the Monthly Invoices; Motion to approve monthly invoices by Moore, second by Spencer. Motion carried.
  10. Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee/Transportation Coordination Committee Updates; Next meeting is May 24, 2016. Advisory will meet at 9am; Transportation will meet at 10am.
  11. Aging & Disability Resource Center of Eagle Country Board Update; Hovde will be appointed to this committee soon and will attend meetings. Blodget would like to find a third representative for Sauk County.
  12. Public Comment; None.
  13. Agenda Items for Next Meeting; None.
  14. Adjourn; Motion to adjourn by Spencer, second by Moore. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:50 am.
