ADRC SEEKS VOLUNTEER DRIVERS
BARABOO, WISCONSIN; September 3, 2014 – The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County (ADRC) is seeking volunteer drivers for two programs that serve Sauk County adults age 60 and older and adults with disabilities.
Volunteer driver escorts provide clients with inter-city transportation to medical appointments and other trips of necessity. Volunteers in the home-delivered meal program deliver lunches on weekdays to clients in Sauk County who have difficulty leaving their homes and making their own meals. Both of these volunteer opportunities provide mileage reimbursement.
The mission of the ADRC is to empower and support older adults, adults with disabilities and their families by providing easily accessible, quality information and assistance in support of each individual’s choice for independence and enhanced quality of life.
