9th Offense OWI Arrest

On May 14, 2026 at 2:23pm a Deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was performing traffic enforcement on Fern Ishnala Rd. in the Town of Delton, Sauk County. The Deputy observed a vehicle speeding and operating left of center. The Deputy conducted a traffic stop for the violations.

The driver was identified as Evelynn M. Brown age 42 of Baraboo Wisconsin. During the contact signs of intoxication were observed that included the odor of intoxicants. The Deputy asked Evelynn to conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Evelynn consented to the testing. Evelynn showed signs of impairment and was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence 9^th Offense.

Additionally, Evelyn was charged with traffic infractions, Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle, a Probation and Parole Violation, and booked into the Sauk County Jail.
