6th Offense OWI

On March 27, 2026 a Deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Department had a vehicle stopped on Hwy 12 near South Gasser Rd. in the Town of Baraboo. As the traffic stop concluded, a vehicle failed to move over or slow down as required by law. A traffic stop was conducted on the offending vehicle. The 40-year-old male from Arena driver showed signs of impairment. The driver identified as Kyle L. Knight performed Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was arrested. A records check showed Knight had 5 prior offenses. Knight was booked into the Sauk County Jail with charges of Operating While Under the Influence 6th Offense and issued traffic citations.
