Purpose

To allow a former owner of tax deeded land to redeem the property and rescind only that portion of the tax deed.

Background

Wisconsin State Statutes and Sauk County Ordinance allow for a former owner to redeem their property if they have lost it to tax deed foreclosure.  Certain requirements need to be met.

The former owner of this property contacted me that he would like to redeem his property.  A cashier's check was brought in the next day for the required amount to redeem.  The former owner has met his requirements to redeem the property.
