AUTHORIZING THE SAUK COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO ENTER A LEASE AGREEMENT PROVIDING FOR THE PLANNING, FUNDING, CONSTRUCTION, ACCESSING, AND USE OF A ROAD SALT STORAGE FACILITY

Sauk County Highway Department is in need of a greater salt storage capacity to better serve the winter maintenance needs of the State of Wisconsin and the Sauk County highway system.  Wisconsin Department of Transportation has agreed to finance the construction of a 1,000 ton capacity salt storage facility on the property owned by Sauk County at E3309 STH 154, Hillpoint, WI 53937
