Purpose

The State of Wisconsin is condemning certain property owend by the County and utilized by the Highway Department in West Baraboo for Highway 12 Improvements. The compensation propsed is just and equitable.

APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR

U.S. HIGHWAY 12 IMPROVEMENTS

            WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation has offered to purchase certain real property from Sauk County for the purchase price of Seventy-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred dollars ($72,800.00) and is currently used by the Sauk County Highway Department; and

            WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin is authorized to acquire this property by eminent domain for transportation purposes, and your undersigned committee has no objection to selling this property to the State of Wisconsin for the price offered.

            NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in special session, that the offer of the State of Wisconsin to purchase the real property described on the attached addendum be and hereby is accepted, and the property shall be conveyed by the County Clerk upon payment of Seventy-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred dollars ($72,800.00) by the State of Wisconsin and review of all documents by the Corporation Counsel
