The meeting was called to order by Personnel Committee Chairperson Tim Meister at 8:24 AM.  No quorum for joint meeting with Finance.  Certification of open meeting compliance was given. 

 

Motion by Moore, second by Berlin to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried. 

 

Public Comment:  None. 

 

Discussion and Consideration of the Elected Officials (Clerk of Courts, Coroner, Sheriff) Salaries for the 2019-2022 Term of Office.

Posewitz noted salaries for elected officials need to be determined before election papers are taken out.  The Committee discussed the responsibilities, parity and other comparable elected official wages.   Wenzel commented on the elected official.  Motion by Moore, second by Berlin to recommend setting the Sheriff salary at $109,452 for the four year term of office.  Motion carried. 

 

Motion by Bychinski, second by Netzinger to recommend setting the Clerk of Courts salary at $74,823 and the Coroner salary at $66,005 for the four year term of office.  Motion carried.

 

Public Comment:  None. 

 

 

Motion by Tim Meister, second by Bychinski to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.
