Purpose

To purchase a replacement 4x4 pickup.

Background

The 2020 Sauk County budget authorized the expenditure of $30,000 for the purchase of a replacement vehicle to be used by the Land Resources and Environment Department. Bids were solicited using the State Contract Pricing, VendorNet, and the bid of Ewald Automotive Group of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, was found to best meet the needs and requirements put forth in the bid solicitation and was selected by the Sauk County Land Resources and Environment Committee as the most advantageous bid. As part of the bid, a 2004 Ford Ranger will be traded in.

Resolution Body

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the bid of Ewald Automotive Group of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, for a Ram 1500 Classic Pickup, for a total sum of $24,177, is hereby accepted and the Land Resources and Environment Director is authorized to make said purchase.
