Purpose

AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF ONE FULL TIME CHILD AND FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPIST POSITION FOR THE SAUK COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2019.

Background

Sauk County Department of Human Services has evaluated its use of Master’s prepared therapists within the Mental Health and Recovery Services Unit.  This evaluation process has determined the need for an increase in need for a Master’s prepared therapist.  The number of Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) cases in Sauk County has increased by 20% annually over the last three years for child and adult services.  There is a need to continue to serve residents with this type of service delivery.  Sauk County Department of Human Services is requesting authorization of one full time (1.0 FTE) Master’s prepared therapist position to serve the residents of Sauk County effective January 1, 2019.

Funding for this position is 0% levy.

Resolution Body

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the Sauk County Department of Human Services be authorized to create one full time equivalent (1.0 FTE) Child and Family Psychotherapist position.
