Purpose

Background:    The Communications Infrastructure Committee (CIC) is a standing committee of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors. The current description of CIC states it is composed of three supervisors, however, that is not correct. Resolution 54-2012 amended the composition of CIC to increase the size of CIC from three supervisors to five supervisors, but retained the composition requirements of one supervisor each from Finance, Property & Insurance, and Law Enforcement & Judiciary Committees, and representatives from fire, police and EMS agencies.  The original composition requirements were due to expansion projects, however, CIC no longer requires such specific composition.  CIC should be comprised of only supervisors, with no composition requirements.
