Purpose

To convey tax deed property to Land Restoration Services LLC

Background

Sauk County has taken a tax deed on the below described parcel.  This property has  been advertised as a Class III Notice under Chapter 985 of the Wisconsin Statutes and the property remains unsold. Land Restoration Services LLC has offered the sum of $2,505.00; the sum of the appraised value is $2,500.00. Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 75.69, we may sell a parcel that remains unsold as long as the price received meets or exceeds the advertised aggregate appraised value.

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors met

in regular session that the Sauk County Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed, having received $2,505.00 from Land Restoration Services LLC on January 25, 2018 to issue a quit claim deed to Land Restoration Services LLC for the below described property:

 

     Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SW¼ NE¼) of Section 18, Township 8 North, Range 4 East, Village of Spring Green, Sauk County, Wisconsin, described as follows:  Commencing 200 feet South of the Northeast corner of said SW¼ NE¼, thence West to a point 155.38 feet South of the Southeast corner of Lot 1 El Rosa Court, thence North to the Southeast corner of said Lot 1, thence East to the East line of said SW¼ NE¼, thence South to the point of beginning.     (Parcel #182-0510-00000)  

     Appraised Value:  $2,500.00    Offer Amount:  $2,505.00

 

     For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on February 19, 2018.
