Resolution to authorize prioritized work on the Sauk County Economic Development and Market Analysis Plan - Invest Sauk: Driving Innovation, Building A Resilient Economy and Empowering Business Growth

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, to authorize the prioritized work to be done, beginning November 13, 2024, on the Invest Sauk: Driving Innovation, Building A Resilient Economy and Empowering Business Growth plan with Medium Giant for an amount of $110,000.

Approved for presentation to the County Board by the Economic Development Committee, the Executive & Legislative Committee.

Fiscal Note: The 2024 Administrator’s Budget includes Economic Development carryforward funding in the amount of $155,714 of which $110,000 may be used to implement three prioritized elements of the Invest Sauk economic development strategy to begin in Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 (November 13, 2024) under the direction of the County Administrator and Economic Development Director.

Any additional prioritized elements of the plan will be incorporated into upcoming FY 2026 and beyond budgets submitted through the Economic Development Committee for vote by the full Board of Supervisors under current budget parameters.

MIS Note: Nothing will be needed from the Sauk County MIS team. All website programming and plugins will be created, implemented and managed by Sauk County’s current Marketing Agency of Record, Medium Giant, and the Economic Development / Brand Marketing team in the Administrator’s Office.
