To Direct the County Administrator to include in $390,000 for the UW Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Campus for operational overhead in the 2025 and 2026 County Budget.

Background

Sauk County and the City of Baraboo own the campus facility since for UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County and are doing everything that they can to keep and maintain the facilities. This operational overhead would be to cover cost associated with the facilities to be able to attract and keep potential students at the campus through maintaining the facilities either through Capital Outlay or through operational management of the facility

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, met in regular session, that the County Administrator include in upcoming budget for 2025 and 2026 funding to cover operational overhead at the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County with funding from Fund Balance. This resolution is an exemption to Financial Policy 5-94.
