Purpose

To obtain authorization to contract with Panda Consulting for services at a cost of $15,300

Background

Sauk County currently maintains tax parcel map data in the ESRI ArcGIS System.  Migrating from ArcGIS to ArcGIS Pro will provide significant benefits with regard to improved mapping procedures and capabilities.  This process involves verification of existing data and migration of this verified data into the ArcGIS Pro parcel fabric model, a task requiring a specialized skill set.  In past work with Panda Consulting, they have demonstrated their capabilities in this realm and are familiar with Sauk County’s existing data and procedures.

Budget Status (Other/External Sources): 

Budgeted in 2022 - $ will carryforward to 2023.  Funds are not tax levy but funds retained through the Land Records Modernization program from document recording fees in the Register of Deeds.

Resolved by the Board of Supervisors of Sauk County, Wisconsin:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors that the a contract with Panda Consulting, for the migration of tax parcel map data, at a cost of $15,300, be hereby approved; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Sauk County MIS Director is delegated the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of Sauk County.  Approved for presentation to the County Board by the Land Resources and Environment Committee, this 21st day of March 2023.
