Resolution Gratefully Accepting Donations and Gifts Presented to Sauk County in 2021

Sauk County annually receives significant donations from many entities, including clients, service recipients and their families, and businesses.  These donations, including goods and services, benefit the overall good of the Sauk County public by enhancing educational programs, purchasing items for client use, and providing services for clients.  Use of donations assists Sauk County in providing important services for various public purposes that promote the public good, while minimizing the impact to the property tax.  Wis. Stat. § 59.52(19) permits the County Board to accept all donations:  “the board may accept donations, gifts or grants for any public governmental purpose within the powers of the county”.
