Purpose

To purchase two vehicles. One for Environmental Health and the other for the Seal A Smile program.

Background

The Sauk County Health Department is pursuing the purchase of two vehicles. Bids were sent out and each received one response. Responses met the specifications set forth in the bid.

One vehicle will be purchased for the Environmental Health Unit with the use of carryforward funds from fees in the retail food program, as well as a trading in our current Ford Focus. Including the trade in, the cost of the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer is $22,667.

 

Another vehicle will be purchased for the Seal-A-Smile program with grant funds provided by the Ho Chunk Nation and carryforward funds from 2020. The total cost of the 2022 Ford Transit is $45,760.
