Purpose

The Health Care Center is in need of replacing the worn carpeting in the rooms and hallways.

Background

Background:  The Health Care Center is in need of replacing the worn carpeting in the rooms and hallways.  This was a budgeted capital project for 2020 however; it needed to be placed on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was again requested and approved in Capital Improvements Plan and built into the 2021 Budget that the Sauk County Board of Supervisors approved.   Bids requested through county system and only one was received from Davis Home Furnishings and Flooring. This proposal will replace all the hallway flooring in one wing and then one of the hallways in the facility.  This will complete roughly 1/3 of replacement needed.  This is a local business that the HCC has previously done business with and have been very pleased with their work.
