Purpose

:    This resolution authorizes the Sauk County Health Department to contract with Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, Inc. (NEWAHEC) to receive and carry out a DHS grant, Strategic Prevention Framework for Prescription Drugs (SPF-Rx), in the amount of $50,000, for the period of performance beginning 9/1/2020 and ending 8/31/2021.

 

This objective of this contract is to implement the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and identified strategies to address prescription drug and other substance abuse in Sauk County.

This is a grant renewal.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, who met in regular session, that the Sauk County Board of  Supervisors authorize the Sauk County Health Department to enter in to a one year contract with the Northeastern Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, effective September 1, 2020.

 

For consideration by the Sauk County Board of Supervisors on October 20, 2020.
