Computer Donations

Policy

Sauk County employs a technology replacement policy whereby equipment is replaced on a rotating schedule based on it's useful life. Surplus equipment, that has been removed for replacement, may be found to meet the needs of other government agencies or nonprofit organizations. Donation of this equipment to other agencies or nonprofit organizations that benefit the community constitutes a better use of this equipment than selling it for undetermined amounts.
