REASON FOR MEETING:                            REGULAR

SUBJECTS FOR DISCUSSION:

1.             Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law

2.             Adopt Agenda

3.             Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting

4.             Possible Closed Session:  Motion to convene in closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(d), Wisconsin Statutes, to consider specific applications of probation, extended supervision or parole, or considering strategy for crime detection or prevention and/or pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(f) for the purpose of considering financial, medical, social or personal histories of specific persons, which if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data. (Topic: Case updates and review of placement options for Chapter 980 cases).  

5.             Reconvene in Open Session:  Immediately following the closed session, the Committee will reconvene in open session.

6.             Adjournment

PRESENT:  Jessica Mijal, Director, Sauk County Department of Human Services; Brian Desmond, Sauk County Corporation Counsel; Matthew Prior, Sauk County Assistant Corporation Counsel; By “Zoom”:  Tyler Pointon, Sauk County Sheriff’s Department; Sally Cobb, Sauk County Land Information/GIS; Scott Timm, State of Wisconsin DHS; BillieJo Rosciszewski, Department of Corrections 

ABSENT:  Brent Miller, Sauk County Administrator; Richard Meister, Sauk County Sheriff’s Department; Jessica Harmel, Department of Corrections

  1. The Meeting was called to order by Jessica Mijal at 2:39 p.m. and certified compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
  2. Motion by Desmond, seconded by Pointon to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.  Those in attendance introduced themselves.
  3. Motion by Desmond, seconded by Pointon to approve the minutes of the previous meeting for July 29, 2022.  Motion carried.
  4. Motion by Desmond, seconded by Pointon to convene in closed session.  Roll Call:  AYES:  Mijal, Desmond, Prior, Pointon, Timm, Rosciszewski, Cobb.  NAYS:  None.  Motion carried.
  5. Motion by Desmond, seconded by Mijal to reconvene in open session.  Roll Call:  AYES:  Mijal, Desmond, Prior, Pointon, Timm, Rosciszewski, Cobb.  NAYS:  None.  Motion carried.
  6. Motion by Desmond, seconded by Mijal to adjourn.  Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
