Minutes of Finance Committee of the Human Services Board - March 8, 2010

  1. Meeting was called to order by Stoeckmann at 4:30 p.m., and it was determined that the meeting was in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.   Present were: Alexander, Vertein, Dippel, and Stoeckmann.  Staff present were:  Orth and Box.
  2. The motion to adopt the agenda was made by Alexander and seconded by Vertein.
  3. Motion to adopt the minutes for the prior month's meeting was made by Vertein, seconded by Alexander and carried.
  4. Communications:  None
  5. Business Items:
    1. Review and Approve Monthly Vouchers:  Box distributed and reviewed the Monthly Voucher Report.  Several line items were explained.  A motion to approve monthly vouchers in the amount of $975,644.38 by Alexander, seconded by Dippel and carried.
    2. Accounts Receivalbe Report: Box distributed and reviewed the January 2010 Accounts Receivable Report.
    3. Approval for Collection Requests:  Approval needed to send 24 accounts to collections in the amount of $36,606.89.  Motion by Vertein, seconded by Alexander. 
  6. Departmental Updates
    1. Monthly Reports:  Box distributed and discussed the January 2010 Volatile Line Report.  Projected year end is set at budget.
  7. Next Meeting:  April 5, 2010 at 4:00 P.m.
  8. Adjournment:  Motion to adjourn was made by Vertein, seconded by Dippel and carried.  Meeting adjourned at 4:44 p.m.
