SAUK COUNTY BOARD OF HUMAN SERVICES

Meeting:                      Monday, September 10, 2018, 3:30 p.m., Room 213, West Square Building, Baraboo, WI

Members Present:     John Miller, Patricia Rego, Glen Johnson, Brandon Lohr, Valerie McAuliffe, Timothy McCumber, James Bowers, Julie Fleming, Beverly Vertein

Chair, Patricia Rego called the meeting to order and certified compliance with the Open Meeting Law.

Motion by Valerie McAuliffe, seconded by Brandon Lohr to adopt agenda.  Motion carried.

Motion by Tim McCumber, seconded by Valerie McAuliffe to approve the minutes for the previous Human Services Board meeting held on August 6, 2018.  Glen stated many of the board members may have been confused regarding the Resolution Authorizing to Contract with Netsmart to Enhance the Electronic Records System.  A new resolution will be need to be submitted.  Motion carried.

Business Items:

Review and Approve Monthly Vouchers:  Distributed electronically.  Stephanie Box reviewed the Monthly Voucher Report.  Motion by Valerie McAuliffe, seconded by Glen Johnson, to approve monthly vouchers in the amount of $2,211,911.44.  Motion carried.  

Accounts Receivable Report:  Stephanie Box distributed and reviewed the Accounts Receivable Report for July 2018.

Approval for Collection Requests:  Motion by Tim McCumber, seconded by Brandon Lohr, to approve sending 41 accounts to Credit Management Control for $11,241.71.  Motion carried.

Monthly Reports:  Distributed electronically.  Stephanie Box discussed the July 2018 Volatile line report.

James Bowers arrived 3:44 p.m.

Approve Resolution Commending Bill Bishop for Over 30 Years of Service to the People of Sauk County:  Dan Brattset commended the long-time, excellent services provided by Bill Bishop.  Motion by Glen Johnson, seconded by Tim McCumber, to Approve Resolution Commending Bill Bishop for Over 30 Years of Service to the People of Sauk County.  Motion carried.

Department Updates:

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Grant Services Phase Out and Transition to Sauk County Department of Human Services Update:  Sharon Boesl gave a power point presentation regarding the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program which included information for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) report.  Transition from Medication Assisted Treatment Recovery Services (MATRS) to MAT grant started on August 1, 2018.  Information showing many statistics of success with the program were given.  A future MAT services update presentation will coming in about six months.

Next Meeting:  The next meeting of the Sauk County Human Services Board will be Monday, October 8, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. in Room 213.
